Honestly, the pics of BTS recreating some of their milestone looks (as well as the general vibe of the whole era) makes me wonder what's going on behind the scenes. Like something about this feels like a disbandment comeback  which would make zero sense considering how successful they are rn

nnn idk maybe you’re right, that would explain the lack of views on the teaser compared to their previous ones

 

but at the same time i still feel like BTS had more support from k-pop stans (not the armys, just casual fans of the genre) pre dynamite  or maybe those casual fans still exist but they are now more silent with their support towards the group

I've been getting that feeling since they announced it was an anthology album but there's no way HYBE wouldn't capitalize on promoting "BTS's LAST ALBUM Y'ALL BETTER BUY IT".

Would be very dumb of the maknae line, they could have successful solo debuts while still in their mid 20s

I don't see this as a disbandment bts contract is not over until 2026/27 and hybe wont let them go sooner than that, but it does feel different this time, jin has to enlist before December and some the next year so this may be the last ot7 cb in a while, plus they have been working non stop since 2013, they have made a lot of money over the years and little time to enjoy it, they all would prefer a long break i think

People always joke about Blackpink being models and it's become so normalized at this point, but their impact with luxury brands is ridiculous if you think about it. Every time I see the CEOs of their respective brands treating them like gods when they meet them...they must have really made them a ton of money. Younger groups getting to be ambassadors this early on is definitely luxury brands getting a head start after seeing Blackpink's effect.

There is a reason they’re more focused on fashion and brand deals than music. It’s obvious.

Exactly HYBE/Big Hit just manifactured almost all their catalogue again in early 2022.

 

Why an anthology ? (I'd understand it if there was a cd of demos or rejects but nope).

It's more like their last cb as OT7 before they start enlist into military one by one. BB Flower Road etc. tea

I think BTS will go on a very long hiatus like Blackpink after this comeback, and they will be gone for at least 2 years. Some of them will enlist while the others do solo activities and sub-units etc.

SM announced RV's pre-orders as 516k and they sold 500k+ on Hanteo within 3 weeks and registered 653k on Gaon. Were they "mediaplaying" and "lying" and "faking" those pre-order numbers too?

 

So why would they mediaplay with fake pre-order numbers, considering Hanteo/Gaon would reveal the truth anyway. Answer that.

 

 

lmao  didn't want to name any specific fans or groups last night but the hypocrisy is just too transparent. so many posts from people shoving lsrf's numbers in our face like they were some wildly impressive debut achievement when she just had a deeply established china bar that shows out for her, but when aespa girls who have had literal back-to-back smashes since their debut have china bars (and other huge fanclubs) that show out for them it's supposed to be unbelievable? and some jyp fans mad too?  how is nmixx with zero previous exposure comparable.

(but watch the bots members not even enlist and get a free pass from the government and they’ll never go away)
