Taylor Swift - ‘Midnights’
Taylor very obviously has favorites so this Speak Now teasing is making me excited that she won't pay one of her forgotten albums dust. It has SO much potential to be revived and I hope it gains the success to make her appreciate it too lmao. I couldn't care less if debut gets a proper rollout though. At the same time, I love how Taylor unapologetically cares about charts and is going for the full top 10 lol.

Taylor Swift - ‘Midnights’
I also want to believe because it's ahead of its time Ironically it's the fan fave album in the Philippines (not sure about the rest of SEA) so I'm ready for everyone else to catch up

Taylor Swift - ‘Midnights’
When Speak Now finally gets the recognition it deserves US/WW her most underrated album

HDD FINAL: 'Midnights' 1,537,699 (1,119,401 pure)
I remember when 1989 came out being slightly disappointed that she came so close to beating Oops numbers and thinking later on that it would be impossible to ever do it...and now she's potentially doing it in 2022 I don't know how she keeps on getting even bigger. Without a doubt the artist of this generation

BLACKPINK - "Pink Venom"
Took only 1 listen for the chorus to grow on me ahhh. I can see it going viral/getting stuck in people's heads.

When I first heard Yuri's drama was on Channel ENA I thought it was sure to not make any noise. Now it might actually be a really good thing since it's following Extraordinary Attorney Woo (as long as it's good)

This was cute. Also its way more fun to have all the idols on stage.

mijoo better find a way to use hdyp to promote her song when she debuts since wsg is STILL smashing even though their ratings are down....

WSG is doing better than I thought they would, good for them. The top team has an active idol member but I guess no one here cares about Laboum

She's been hinting at it for a few months now, she even mentioned changing agencies on Sixth Sense recently. All speculation but most likely she wants a full on break with no pressure of an agency because her mental health/health has suffered a lot the past year. The few Jessi fans I see on Twitter were unhappy with Pnation, but fans will be fans. But then again, Jessi didn't have tours or physicals when she easily could've done so. Most likely she just wants more freedom to do what she wants when she wants though.

JTBC is terrible for not licensing SNSD's variety show to a subber streaming service. Luckily SNSD still has one of the best and only fan subbing teams so we still get to watch it

Blackpink were always coming back in August, but knowing YG, BP will be late August and SNSD will be early August Would love for them to overlap to get some interactions though since both groups seem to like each other...- K-Pop Thread: 2022 Archive
Jisoo is essential to BP though. She's the classic Korean beauty who grounds the group and prevents them from being too "foreign," plus she's funny and personable which makes BP more relatable and not as unapproachable. I see her as the best spokesperson of the group when ironically she's the only one who doesn't speak English.- K-Pop Thread: 2022 Archive
Giselle is probably too American for both Korea and Japan. Asian international schools are so Americanized that she doesn't even have to be from the US to come off that way Her background probably makes her seem too rich/unrelatable tbh.- K-Pop Thread: 2022 Archive
Wow there's no physical?? It's weird they didn't go for basically free money when they could've put minimal effort and still sell a ton.- K-Pop Thread: 2022 Archive
not saying golden child aren't flops but aren't they big enough to at least do some touring? For Lovelyz Mijoo too, on her shows cast members have made some references to her making a lot of money now. She must have now made multiple times over in one year than what she earned in Lovelyz lmao There's a reason the BP girls are the richest ones- K-Pop Thread: 2022 Archive
this is why solo success and other gigs are so important- K-Pop Thread: 2022 Archive
It's funny that Mijoo is singing way more now than when she was in Lovelyz. I'm gonna need her to stop having 0 international fans though so I'm not talking into a void.- K-Pop Thread: 2022 Archive
It's not impossible because they were talking about the possibility of a HDYP year-end concert with MSG Wannabe and WSG Wannabe and since SSAK3 and Refund Sisters never got to really perform in a crowd... But of course they'd have to get Hyori to agree to it- K-Pop Thread: 2022 Archive
one of the best summer songs tbh- K-Pop Thread: 2022 Archive
I’d say acting is a more desirable career than becoming a solo artist though, it’s easier to maintain acting success over a long period, plus it comes with more recognition, CFs, etc. Profitable success as a solo artist is way too hard to achieve and is definitely not sustainable. That’s why there’s only IU and Taeyeon doing extremely well.- K-Pop Thread: 2022 Archive
Isn't Sojang that youtuber who just stirs sh*t up? Would hardly call them a reliable source...disliking jaejae is one thing but I at least appreciate she does research for her interviews. Plus I remember she gets targeted for not being that feminine.- K-Pop Thread: 2022 Archive
Arenas. There's no way skz would be playing stadiums rn.- K-Pop Thread: 2022 Archive
You should've seen Eun Woo in Gangnam Beauty, he was terrible there His problem is he's so boring and can't make any facial expression even though he's gorgeous. Rowoon was cute in King's Affection though. - K-Pop Thread: 2022 Archive
