they always have problems with album printing 

 

Blackpink is really too big of a group for YG, they would do better in SM or even Hybe/Big Hit, heck even PNation might do a better job than YG 

wont be surprised if the overworked underpaid yg employees were printing the albums on their own hands

well, they are not overworked, all of them are worldwide known it girls with lucrative contracts, literally the biggest gg at the moment since a couple of years, highly anticipated when it comes to their comeback…

it's annoying as a fan they are about to be in their fifth year and they still have what how many songs?

 

I dont like them to be overworked like Twice who literally got a comeback more than the girls have their menstrual cycles but more than a year of waiting just to release 8 song album worst, wait for a year to release a freaking only 1 song.

there weren’t stock issues since it came out and there was even an action when it was available in the grocery stores chain for a week or two

Putting aside bulk buying which is a different thing, it's the collectors element with K-pop albums. They're such a nice physical object and they come with additions like stickers, photocards, posters etc. Meanwhile physical albums in the west have nothing, so what's the point? I haven't listened to the actual cd of 90% of my K-pop albums

Vinyl is growing every year for the same reason. I happen to collect both so I get it

fans literally have to drive miles and miles just to get their album, where were you when fans were complaining about stock issues

did you read their latest interview with the RS? Jennie literally complained that she would have a hard 2 years although they had such a long break 

 

Lisa and Rose are basically doing their thing and maybe the latter is the one that possible have the biggest issues with their music schedules 

 

Jisoo wants to be an actress and she isn’t even sure if she wants to release a solo, so it’s very telling 

 

they are doing just fine and as I said, it’s most frustrating from the fan perspective, especially k-pop fan, but in the western reality such break isn’t anything groundbreaking - see Lorde or Adele for example, even Dua Lipa has longer cycle, although she’s promoting hard, as she still has to establish herself

 

now BP will start their cycle and as we know the tour will follow their comeback, so we will have a lot of content soon 

 

 

Yeah if BP kept YG’s image, producers, and “cool factor” but had SM or JYP’s promotional team… they’d be able to rival BTS in WW popularity. Being in YG is a blessing and a curse. It’s instant popularity and cool factor (at least it used to be instant popularity) but getting hardly any comebacks
