They're just using the digipacks strategy and have worldwide distribution so more stock orders obviously. Aespa have 5 digipack versions at 8-10$, this help to inflate sales since most fanbases, especially in China, are bulkbuying digipacks. Look at NCT, it's the same, their fans pre ordered so many digipacks, SM didn't have enough stocks lol. Plus worldwide distribution, with target exclusive (like TXT/Stray Kids). It's a good strategy.

No one said anything about popularizing. Badass, ssen concept existed before 2ne1 and even they didn’t popularized it. Everyone was doing cute, sexy concept in 2010-2016 until black pink came and coined the term girl crush.

Just like ITZY is now the face of Teen Crush concept and the group that made it popular despite having several groups before them doing the exact same concept for years before them.

4minute literally came out the same year, and no one didn’t even compared Miss A to 2ne1, when they debuted. Even bad girl good girl is nothing like anything of 2ne1 song. Plus Miss A were on more feminine side.

I have no idea it happens so randomly and it’s always unannounced. Weirdos always still manage to find a way in though. They probably sit up for weeks perched trying to make an account so they can be messy. There has to be more to life.

To be honest, I don't think any physical sales Kpop numbers are accurate, even from groups I like. These companies lie and these stans are bulk buying with the expressed purpose of trying to break first week sales. It's less the fandom growing and more the rich fans deciding they need to bulk buy a greater number of albums that they did before. Plus companies can obviously buy and lie for media play.

 

But I'm just curious, why is it okay for this thread to accuse NMESS's physical sales of being fake but when people accuse ADSPA's sales as being fake mediaplay suddenly everyone has a meltdown?
