aespa selling 1M with a mini album that has 3 already released tracks  

i'm shook at their power and it's been only a week(?) since the pre-orders started 

The way companies are barely going to make full albums anymore considering minis and even single albums sell just as much these days

i dont think international buyings played a big part in it cause nobody in the world buying that many copies of an album 

not even mpg get that nowadays 

if i had to bet id say 80k copies at best

Yeah ngl those preorders look fishy..
when BTS gets millions of preorders it makes sense, every social media post gets 1M+ likes, their YT vids get 1M likes and millions of views within MINUTES etc so clearly they just have a massive fanbase.. but where are those aespa fans that preordered this album

Signing w Warner doesn’t magically mean you sell 1mil though  

 

The most plausible thing would be domestic + China. They aren’t huge in Japan/US to make this huge jump from there.

Isn't ive selling like 500k copies on their debut year with a single album? How is it not possible for aespa to sell 1M copies when their last release sold +600k  and yeah their Chinese fanbases are HUGE. So that's definitely helping a lot

Why are you asking for a investigation on Aespa of all groups one of the biggest gg for the new gen. The true investigation should be on nmixx

lmao I still remember the "experts" in korean music here saying it wasn't possible that koreans were loving Next Level, that it would fall down the charts after 2 weeks.

But BP did that with multiple mega hits and 1B view MVs on youtube and an IT girl Jennie. They were huge.

Aespa number does not match their popularity at the moment. Ningning is not that popular even in her hometown China and Giselle has no fans. So who buying the albums?

However the growth isn't that uniform, either you sell a tone or sell crumbs there's no in between I fear. See while Enhypen, Stray Noise and TXT are selling 1M and The Boyz and ATEEZ are selling 600k+ other groups from their gen are struggling to reach 200k, Cravity, Drippin, SF9, Golden Child, Wei. P1Harmony seems like they will get there but groups like Mirae or AB6IX seems like are doomed to sell nothing. Seems like there's no established act in the 300-400-500K range sans Monsta X.

If RV had an increase of like 300k with FMR, I don't see aespa numbers being that crazy considering that Savage sold around 500k-600k.

In 2020? I’m sure they would have sold 2M with a cb. Also sales skyrocketed. Add the fact aespa has a big fanbase in china I’m sure they will buy 500k albums. 
i knew they would sold 1M but surprised they did in a week. 

Just here for the meltdowns incoming sfsfs but we should atleast wait till the final numbers.

all of their songs combined are pulling less streams than boombayah but somehow they are selling on par with them now

What we need is to get the naevis army pour some money and buy SNSD upcoming album. 

If SNSD gets over 200k it would be good for them.

They sold 600k with their last album and their popularity has grown significantly since then. It's really not that surprising. Just because it doesn't jive with your personal perception doesn't mean SM is manipulating sales  Honestly did the girls not learn from last year

So you are implying that it is possible for IVE and NMIX to sell half a million with 2 songs and half the exposure aespa has had? But aespa can't despite debuting top 20 on billboard last year and getting the most influential kpop song of their gen? Like who are IVE fans aside from Wonyoung stans? If Giselle and NingNing are flops let's not get started on Lesseo, Rei, Gaeul and the other faceless members, same goes to Nmixx and their vocalist wannabe member
