If they're gonna sexualize children then the least they can do is accept that some kids do stupid stuff.

 

I know bullying is and will always be bad and destructive to any kid that’s bullied and the perpetrators should always be held accountable, but the fact that korea has so many social issues and big problems in their community yet the outrage is always very selective, and one of them is targeting young kpop idols and it’s very hypocritical. If they had the same level of anger for all those anti-feminist, misogynistic and homophobic trash in that country that gets free pass, imagine how much better of a place it would be. Something to think about.

You’re right about their other issues, but the backlash against bullying isn’t just aimed at idols - it’s a reckoning that’s happening to all kinds of public figures. we focus on the idols in this thread for obvious reasons but like, it’s a whole movement over there atm

I really tought Dahyun and especially Jeongyeon would have more followers than Chaeyoung. Guess she has a few more international fans.

I think Jeongyeon would definitely have had more followers than half of the group if they had opened the accounts in 2017-18, but her hiatus around mid 2020 exactly when Twice was really growing rapidly internationally with I Can’t Stop Me was very unfortunate timing for her. She finally came back fully starting from this year but she isn’t fully exposed to most of the i-fans. Plus her getting less screentime doesn’t help to be noticed by them either 

I hope she catches up for the lost time, she’s so underrated nowadays. 

The HYBE GG curse better not ruin LSFM because I’m already so into them as a group. Replace Garam with Minju so we can move on happily. Why couldn’t Eunchae be evil instead of Garam.
