2nd gen idols were replaceable because groups were gp dependent and the gp doesn't care about specific members unless they are really really popular (I tend to be like this, I can barely tell apart The Boyz, SF9 or Cravity, Drippin', Got7; yet stan them and listen to them very often) 

Nowadays replacing an idol is hard because groups are dependent on fan bases for big sales, so it is hard to kick someone like Lucas out specially when his following is among the biggest of his group

Best case scenario for her is that she proves herself “innocent” / acquitted or wins a defamation lawsuit (in a couple of months time when the heat dies down).
And then gets to redebut in a year or two when no one cares anymore and everyone has moved on.
 

Hybe definitely paid her a nice lump sum for terminating her contract prematurely so she has the money to fight this and she’s very young. 

Afterwards she’ll probably have a small dedicated fanbase in a nugu group that cry she’s a victim regardless of what the actual truth was. We’re definitely gonna see some “innocent garam” news in a few months after the legal battle. (Ms Eunsoo will be getting a fat paycheck behind the scenes no doubt )

One would think the song is an unbearable mess like O.O based on some people's reaction here.  

 

The reception outside this thread is good, stans definitely rank it as their weakest TT but there isn't as much hate as you would expect looking at the opinions in this base.
