Tokeisou is the first track from Miho Nakayama's 22nd album, Neuf Neuf, and her late-career entry. It was written by Miho herself and produced by Ren Takada, who, I assume, is also on the background vocals. Despite the album's title meaning 'New New', only 4 songs out of 8 are new, and one of them is an instrumental.

Watashi no 16 Sai is Kyoko Koizumi's debut single. Released in 1982 (when she was sixteen), it only hit no. 22 on the charts. It was written by Noriko Maki and produced by Eiji Takino. The song is actually a cover of 'Nee Nee Nee' by Madoka Mori, which was released 3 years earlier and didn't chart at all. Incidentally, Kyoko's second single is also a cover.

Hagane no Mori is the first track on Shizuka Kudo's 17th album, Rin, and her late-career entry. It was written by Shizuka herself under her pen name and produced by her daughter, koki. The album was her first one in 12 years and charted better than its predecessor, potentially reigniting Shizuka's interest in her singing career. Later, she had more songs where she worked closely with her daughter.

Also, I think she's preserved her voice the best out of all the main Showa girls. She can still belt out her old hits in the original key to this day. Super impressive.

Don't Stop The Music is tofubeats' 15th single, and it features Chisato Moritaka. It was released in 2013, making it her late-career entry, as Chisato hasn't released anything by herself since 1999. tofubeats was inspired by Chisato to start his career and sent her a request to collaborate, even though she was technically retired. She gladly accepted it, but it didn't stop tofubeats from feeling extremely nervous while working with her, as he was afraid of messing up in front of his idol. Chisato herself was very supportive of him, and their collab might've taken his career to another level.

Ivory Coast is an album track from Momoko Kikuchi's 4th album, ESCAPE FROM DIMENSION. It was written by Masao Urino and produced by Tetsuji Hayashi. The arrangement was done by Joe Hisaishi, the main composer of most studio Ghibli movies.
