She would be stupid to wait until 2026 for her next album when Guts lacked hits

Today's shirt: "looking for an issue"   Ok, there's no way they're all from the same song at this point. They have to each be for a different song on OR3?   All so far:

  • a lyric from each track...   six more shows so six more lyrics for a fifteen track album    I knew there was a reason I stayed in school

isn't vampire a 1b+ stream song? :celestial5:

Eligibility period for the 2026 Grammys goes until august 30 and the pop categories are so weak, it's pretty much Sabrina vs. Gaga, i really wish Olivia releases something before that date, but I don't see the album coming before september (imagining a similar rollout to GUTS)

So I'll keep praying for lead single announcement july 15th even tho it feels like clowning

I want to clown some too....I think the album's name is burn.

* She ended up in that ring of fire for the visuals

* She sang on the song Burning Down the House with....

* David "Byrne"

I have a feeling that Olivia is going to go full-rock next era. Her team's been marketing her as rockstar for a while now and she's taken the steps to move away from the pop star image by letting go of her dancers.

I wonder what subgenre OR3 will be? I think post-punk (like BİR?) or new wave (like LIE and So American) make the most sense. My other prediction is that a London-based producer worked on OR3. Maybe Dan Carey (works with Wet Legs and Fontaines DC)?

I think we are going to get some tunes in the vein of So American.  I don't think radio is going to play get much at all this era

i sure hope so! i also want her to keep on improving her songwriting, she is amazing so far but i want to see her go even further

anyways she also needs to let go of the 4 letter album title thing, just let an album title come naturally to you instead of forcing it

Yeah I'm puzzled with what the new album is gonna be like in terms of sound. I was fully convinced she was gonna take some inspiration from Chappell and go for more of a new wave type of sound but maybe she'll fully double down on rock. It wouldn't surprise me, it's a sound + image that comes very natural to her

this new album will probably be red themed and more rock oriented. probably a jack white vibe

I definitely see it being a mix of alt rock, including the types you mentioned. But I agree. I love Dan Nigro but I definitely think she worked with other producers this time around too. I mentioned Jack White before. Don't know much about Dan Carey but I could see that.

I haven't watched many videos from her recent festival shows but apparently she's playing guitar more too.

If y'all haven't watched her Fontaines DC cover yet, it's so good. https://youtu.be/N0tPRCkYsxM?si=iXjhf2Jk21t9b7Po

I like her rock stuff but why get on a sinking ship ?

cause that's the genre she's passionate about, charts be damned

Well if it's gonna be Rock then she will need to start honing her guitar skills :keir:

As much as I love her rock stuff, she needs variety in her sound. There's absolutely a place for her to explore rock further but it's clear that's not what most people want from her. I would love her to hone in on the new wave sound of So American or the folk pop sound of Lacy. She would also excel at synth-pop, which she did sort of touch on in some of her unreleased stuff.

Her rock music is my least favorite stuff she does.  I really enjoy hearing her vulnerable vocals and the rock stuff doesn't showcase that

I love her rock stuff, but they seem to be low streamed songs in her discography so she'll definitely have to throw a ballad or two into OR3.

I feel like some of yall are underestimating the versatility of rock. Ballads can be rock.

New encore shirt/possible lyric: "visit your town like a tourist"

She must perform or announce something new at Glastonbury?

Feels like a huge missed opportunity otherwise.
