No shade, how is she booking these and singing songs from like 2019 without any pushback? These companies are wasting money, they could book someone hot right now like Tyla or even a big legacy act like Kesha tbh. She's essentially shelved. She overspent her budget recording and filming a bunch of mv. If that's right about Brandon spending her money to fund his lawsuit; I wouldn't be surprised if the label said you not doing anything anytime soon.

Then She should stop saying the visuals or anything is coming. Normani doesn't deserve her fans at all, people would die to be in her position and have fans so devoted that they waited 6yo for a debut. Ive  never seen such a disrespectful person towards her fans, and she is the one complaning about the lack of support she was receiving from harmos during her days in 5h, just for her to mistreat her own fanbase. And nobody in her entourage is capable of saying this to her.

To be honest I completely understand where you are coming from. I think she essentially is stalling for time in hopes that we will forget and move on. Which to be fair is pretty messed up and to me very manipulative. 

 

I will always somewhat support her but I definitely will not hold out hope for her to ever become an actual artist again. I feel like her image has been somewhat tarnished in my mind. Like I've been rooting for her since she was in 5h. 

 

So to see all those cumulative years of support amount to a rushed debut w/ no promotion after years of no music. It really bothers me that there is literally no communication explaining why.

It's like when someone doesn't want to talk to you anymore, but instead of being honest about how they feel, they just start acting cold and eventually ghost you, hoping you'll take the hint and leave them alone.
I feel like ever since she met her fiancé and her parents got sick, she's kind of lost her spark. And honestly, I don't blame her. I'd probably do the same if I had a rich boyfriend who treated me right and wanted to make me his wife. Her parents are getting older, and she probably just wants them to be around for when she starts a family.

It's actually confusing where her career is at and somebody at Billboard or deuxmoi, NY times, SOMETHING needs to investigate and write an article. 
 

When you really think about it, labels have been more comfortable dropping people nowadays than shelving. Shelving used to be more common 2000s and 2010s. Nowadays they just drop you like Coi Leray, Raye (after she complained enough), Tinashe (after they wasted her time), etc. It's weird how RCA just won't let her go.
 

Even the other 5H girls left their post-fifth harmony labels (Dinah, Ally, and Lauren). Only Normani been trapped like this. It seems intentional at this point if she truly owes money, drop her or force her to release to recoup. 
 

My theory is RCA is afraid Atlantic, Republic, or Def Jam would sign Normani since that would directly go against Tate or Victoria Monet. So they rather keep Normani trapped via shelving until they're positive she can't revive her career at all. R-ddit clocked some of this 4 yrs ago oddly:

The hollywood reporter is pretty legit. I will still wait for confirmation from Normani to be sure. I'm re-reading the article and it says "The new Fifth Harmony" so I don't know if Normani will be in it. It could just be Ally, Dinah and Lauren but as a 5H fan a Tour and a documentary would be really nice.

THR is legit but that doesn't necessarily mean things are finalized. The article does mention they're still in talks. I also don't think there's the demand for this tbh. Especially if they'd obviously be splitting any profit or advances four ways.

Honestly give Normani her own tour. I really don't get what's happening and also I feel like she'd be so dragged if she dropped music videos on the 1 year anniversary of dopamine

it is definitely Ally and Will who leaked it . The article says that Will would be leading the behind the scenes for the reunion pretty much gave it away that it was them but like I said It does say the new fifth harmony. i feel like it just might be Dinah, Ally and Lauren but we will see. I do think there's interest for a tour maybe not a big tour but I remember last year when 5H had the 5H renaissance on tiktok. I think peopl miss them but it's going to be a harder sell if there's only 3 of them.

 

Speaking of that tiktok moment, normani is the only member of 5h who didn't acknowledge it all even Camila left a comment about it on someone's tiktok to be nice. Normani is always on Tiktok too 

Will was their tour manager so he would be the one to know if something was cooking. I'm not saying he didn't leak it but yeah, there's 2 ways to look at it.

 

I think Normani being on a 5H reunion TOUR (not album) wouldn't be bad (cause I like 5H) but it would also validate to me something is very wrong with her solo record deal as I stated a couple posts back. Sht is so bad with RCA, you had to pop out with the full group to do anything musically?

 Of course, it's Ally and Will pushing for this, the money's drying up. Normani doesn't need this right now. The issue isn't that she isn't getting booked; it's her mismanagement. She seems trapped in her RCA deal with no clear way out. And honestly, her current manager, Lydia, is just as useless, but given how close they've become, I doubt Normani would ever drop her.
