Damn. She has the worst luck ever. It seems like setback after setback. Some of it is self-imposed but how come they don't just have Kehlani perform on video and play it during her set. I mean it was set to be live broadcast anyway.

Can you please give my girl Mariah the Scientist's song a listen. She actually releases regularly,  in spite of her not being signed to a major label.

Yes, they are. That's the jacket. The hump in the jacket is way to low to be a baby bump. 

 

A baby would bring some kind of joy to her cursed life. . . And closure to her career.

Tbh her team and her knew that they didn't have any money for this album roll out. Now she's trying to do everything to go onto the next album.

Halle Bailey has a baby, Victoria monet has a baby, Kehlani has a baby... why would Normani retire? . She's just shelved. it's been obvious for a while now but I feel like some of you are in denial about it. RCA wanted her to release an album years ago but she wanted to take her time for her parents health and to make her music sound great. Brandon should have advised to her to release but he was delusional too and RCA moved on. That's it. She's no longer a priority and now she has to wait until they allow her to release again. It sucks but that's clearly what's happening.

THIS! Whenever I mention this people jump down my throat. It's quite obvious that Victoria is her replacement. Normani definitely overplayed her hand. If she just released that pop album she definitely would've been given grace for her not releasing in 2021. However, her overzealousness  and perfectionism cost her a good career; now she's most likely never getting any major budget for a project until she makes what she owes for all the studio sessions, photo shoots, scrapped mv's, and promotion (or lack thereof) that she wasted all those years. 

 

Which is why I don't understand why she can't get on TikTok or Insta and just promote. I think she's trying to stall out so that RCA will just throw a little money at her but she needs to realize that she ain't the only artist that is pretty, can dance, and is black. She's fighting for a share of the pie and these new/older girls have essentially came and did what Normani was supposed to do.
