She cant afford another year off so no lol. Just know Candy Paint is no longer the lead and that they are bringing people in to start listening to the album in full and that they're about to start pushing her as a figure again top of the year.

Has the album changed a lot from what we were supposed to get last year?

@WheresJay kind of hoping they scrap Fair and maybe even wild side as a bonus track as it was so long ago now. Do they have an idea of a quarter ? Q2 album?

My friend is a representative at RCA, which means he works closely with various artists and their teams. We were talking today and I asked him about everything going on with Normani; and boyyyyy if everything he told me was true... shes def going 2 be proving every person that's doubted her wrong.

 

 

1. Looks like she has been in artist development since the start of this year, and has been in the studio constantly.

2. Her new team has been working hard to get her a better/increased budget, (note; it might be hard for them to achieve this with all the money going into the likes of SZA, Tate Mcrae, and Victoria Monet.)

3. Her team has already scheduled a date for her comeback single, which will serve as the lead single from her debut. (i've been told that the comeback single is looking at a date in late March/early April.)

4. She has scrapped her debut TWICE, hence, her not being satisfied with the results, she is a perfectionist through and through.

5. The fan theories about a possible Beyonce collaboration are 50/50... she and Beyonce have been talking (reminder we've seen her attend the RENAISSANCE film premiere and the RENAISSANCE world tour. (It also looks like Beyonce is talking about signing her to Parkwood to "increase" her distribution deal.)

6. It also looks like, her team has gotten RCA to grant Normani her wish to step into R&B. Looks like the album is gonna be filled with songs like "Fair" and "Wild Side" and will not have as many pop songs like "Motivation".

7. She's also been in the studio with various artists, possible collabs with Victoria Monet, Tinashe, SZA, and Chris Brown ;(.

8. Lastly, My friend confirmed that an Ariana Grande collab has been completed, it's also the most "pop" song on the new album.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

 

This was all I was told, he's going to keep me in the fold, so when I find out more info; i'll let you guys know.

Not trying to be rude but are you trolling? I noticed you’re a NM stan and know the tension and disdain you guys have for Normani. If it’s a joke I’d rather you be honest and tell us because I think making up stuff to get at Normani fans is rather low. I’m not outright saying you’re making it up but I’d rather know right now before getting our hopes up.

No worries, I understand completely; let it be known... that yes I stan Nicki Minaj; but i'm nothing like delulu barbz running around on this site. I love all types of music, and that includes the artists that makes them. Everything I typed is 100% true and is from a trusted and honest source. I didn't join ATRL to spread rumours and lies, Normani has been a favorite artist of mine for quite some time; and just like you, all I want is for her to succeed. @justifymythreads

I'm choosing to wait to see if WheresJay has any new information. I'd think it would be stupid of them not drop at the very top of the year when it is quiet.
