I disagree, the transparency was needed: 

 

- For safety; she's in a foreign country, being detained on grounds that were still murky to her as the cop couldn't explain it well & without any security or lawyer present with her in a van. 
 

- For fans at the sold out show to understand why it was being postponed. 
 

- To combat media misinformation
