Pink Friday is probably still her best rollout tbh. I think it was her only album that didn't get pushed back when she announced the release date?

And for those who say "it's not a big deal, a lot of rappers tweak their albums until last minute" I want to remind you that Queen, the album that is so hated by most of you, was also being tweaked till last minute. The day before release if not mistaken. And she went on QR and talked about how she's going to change some verses after release. How is this not a big deal?

it’s true but most rappers don’t even sell physicals, they only put the album on streaming so they don’t have to turn in the album early. Nicki has a fanbase that buys so if she wants a good debut she needs to have physicals ready to ship. I don’t even care how much she sells, but we all know she’ll have a meltdown on twitter if those numbers don’t look good

The thing is that when Nicki works on the album it will take her forever to actually finish the album IN TIME before the deadline. She have been working on this album for FIVE years and I bet she will have the album delayed just like Drake's. 

 

 

 

You can't tweak albums until the last minute if u are producing vinyls and CD's 

 

unless the digital version is different from the CD or vinyl one... which is unlikely.

My Album Pushed Back

 

 

Part of me thinks she is indeed trolling the barbz because they keep talking about the rollout and whatever last minute additions she's doing won't effect the CDs/Vinyls

 

But the other part of me is indeed feeling a push back, this MAPB thing is worrying me

 

if there’s another pushback, i want her deported 

 

First week: 25,000 

 

I just want to know what happend. Last year it looked like she had everything planned and ready. Bunch of interviews, several singles, #1 smash, bunch of performances and VMA vanguard. But suddenly she went missing for few months, came back with a bunch of trash collabs (Ice Spice songs being only exception really) and now she refuses to give us anything from the album, giving us some scraps instead. I don't really count LTISY because I feel like Nicki herself doesn't really acknowledge that song anyway. Like, what happend?

I don't think she was really in love with the album she had in stores back when she promoted Do We Have A Problem? & Bussin. October last year she said this in Interview magazine :

" I wasn’t sure how I was even feeling about having to put out an album this year, but that song (SFG) happening and people liking it, that made me happy. People have gone through so much recently that they want to have fun. It’ll probably expedite the album to come out this year."

 

Maybe my French ass is misunderstanding but "expedite" isn't really a word I would use to describe music that I care for. It feels like she wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible but she probably realized that she could do better and started rerecording again.
