Nicki's music, imagery, and how she moved stood for something, and it exuded a level of boss btchery and confidence that no other new female mc can replicate. It's hard to take the music and the imagery serious now because look where she's at: she's a pathetic grifter sucking maga dck and for what? The husband of this widow doesn't even like you! there's only so much separating the art from the the artist one can do (ofc we all have different moral compasses to determine this though)

i could overlook a lot of the red flags these last few years because we simply didn't know enough about what was happening, what she was facing, etc. i can even respect her being a replican if that's what she is…. but she's not a republican, she's full on maga

when you hop into bed with the most hateful group of people known to our society (people who lbr would take all of her rights away as a black woman if they got the chance, take mine as a gay person, come for minority after minority, etc)
