Yeah the way she kept undermining her entire career pre-Ray of Light was so pretentious back then. The "i don't read magazines or watch TV" phase was weird af. 

She looked hot af tho.

She was so irritating during this era, bashing her own career and talking about how much she has changed and blah blah blah. Thank God she divorced Guy Ritchie.

There are many moms who refuse to raise their kids reading and seeing them. I know some. It's happening.

Kinda embarrassed to say that it took me this long to get over petty stan wars, but I've been discovering Madonna's discography for the past month or so - and I'm sad I've been missing out on this for so many years. I'm trying to take a few days to fully enjoy a single album, instead of listening through all of them in one go. True Blue and Ray of Light have been giving me LIFE and I can't wait to move on to the rest of her work.

 

I hope to hear more about the upcoming album soon so I can experience a Madonna era with stan goggles OFF
