    Today is my birthday and i’m listening to the Queen who has blessed my life eith her music and presence. Growing up as a gay man in a Muslim country in the years when internet didn’t exist wasn’t easy but Madonna helped me a lot. I’m eternally grateful to her.

    I have only been a member for a few months but been a long time lurker too.

    I think saying that a lot of young people today underestimate Madonna's impact is a HUGE understatement. She was a key figure on gay visibility (and not just for gay men) and there are literally not enough words to describe her activism :alexz:
