Nah, this album would've never been accepted by the fanbase, imo. I'm glad she released it since it was something she personally wanted to do.

There's definitely some bad taste in peoples mouths that this came before LG7 though. I think in general her passion projects would receive less hate tagged at the end / during a pop era. CTC a rollout was perfect and a lot of people supported it since she was promoting ARTPOP / ArtRAVE at the same time, LFS era got a lot of hate since she was still delaying CBT / not promoting Chromatica.

The mvs for her last two lead singles are set in the desert, will LG7's lead follow this path too? :lakitu:

Need it to be a perfectly normal MV (like in a building) and then zoom out for us to see the building is in a desert for the gag

Spotify Monthly Listeners Update

#4. (=) Lady Gaga - 107,091,891 (+205,761)

3 - Billie Eilish - 107,370,565 (-75,539)
4 - Lady Gaga - 107,091,891 (+205,761)

If they do the similar numbers on the update tomorrow Gaga might get #3 spot

IDK, she made it clear pop music was coming right after it and it still didn't make a difference. :deadbanana:

I hope not lmao

I would love for it to be set in the cityscape, but I feel like we'd have some leaks from the set if that were the case. Hopefully it's inside a building this time.

I feel like her casual fans don't trust her word for it though

When it comes they'll be back but a lot of people now just think Gaga is done with pop music

the next mv will probably be in a studio/soundstage considering what we know of LG7

Her visibility strategy is actually really garbage, which contributes to that perception. I can't tell you the number of people I was talking to at the Chromatica Ball who had no clue she released the album 2 years prior. They heard Rain on Me and Stupid Love, but thought those were droplets or something not tied to that specific album. And when Replay or 911 or Babylon came on they were bopping hard, wondering why they never heard the tracks.

Idk, I get that digital marketing has usurped most of the traditional efforts that labels are willing to fund to promote already established artists, but I really hope this era is different. Even if it's not a huge smash, I hope we at least get some visibility for LG7 outside of this fanbase.

which is fine tbh as long as it's creative. bad romance was on a sound stage!

I can't of can't even believe we are here. Made it out of khia arkham asylum

Apparently Cynthia liked a post on Instagram about the 'Disease' thing, in case there was any doubt about the disease vs seaside thing :WAP:

I still believe that tea about her and Mark Romanek scouring for abandoned hospitals to record a music video idc

That rumour came up and then we came to find out he's been following Gaga and liking every post of hers for like a year

EDIT: WAIT I just realized how much it also makes sense with the title we got

Drop the lead now :duca:

The listeners might start dropping soon.

We need to secure the top 3 and maybe even hang on till number 2 is achievable but most likely not now that Bruno already has new music out

I think monsters would've received HQ much better if it was released back then / at a better time (and not attached to… that movie).

Gaga released HQ to make up for the OST being mid. It wouldn't have existed under any other circumstances.

HQ is great. Obviously I wish the movie had turned out better but I don't really care that much about it, at least we got HQ out of this. It's so much better than C2C and L4S too. :clap3:

Which sucks because she definitely should do more projects like that. It allows her to build her jazz discography while being able to cover songs she likes, make music with her Vegas band, and even tag on unreleased songs fans want. After every NFR / Chemtrails release a cute Blue Banisters.

If Bruno new single ends up blocking Gaga :rip: her luck lately is just :rip:
