"Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' new collaboration isn't a normal smash, though. Their "Die with a Smile" is proving to be not only a huge hit, but the kind that breaks with tradition and continuously improves."

Remenber when we all questioned why they billed Gaga before Bruno when it first started from Bruno's side. Bruno also sings more on the track. Also why didnt Bruno's label distributed it? It just doesnt make sense. The only thing it would make sense now is that IT IS ON LG6.5!

And remember when Bruno presented Gaga for the first live performance of DWAS on his show and he said: "Lady Gaga just put out a song today". So, its definetly on Gaga's project

According to what Supervillain said no, it would be published under "Harlequin PS", even if it's an Interscope's imprint.

But it's so confusing :monkey:

why y'all are expecting DWAS on this project? guys (?) HELLOW???? :suburban:

the aesthetic and the sound has NOTHING to do with DWAS :suburban:

and why you think that it was part of a project thats gonna be released under "harlequin" inprint? :clack:

Do you know how many points that vinyl contribute on hot 100?

Its literally same as 1 iTunes sale. No difference.

to Gaga, Bobby, Sarah, Glitchie and whoever is on her team I have an idea

put DWAS on LG 6.5 inches

and repackage LG 6.5 and LG7 together ala TFM

a Dua like fraudulence but wouldn't be seen as such

LG7 is gonna be one of the biggest streaming albums ever

Baby we know nothing about that. + I highly doubt she would release an album without interscope's support.

Most likely it would be 50/50.

Huh? Unless Gaga herself created a label or gave the publishing rights to another label for LG6.5 (which doesn't make sense at all and could put her in deep waters), there's no logical explanation on why LG6.5 won't be released under Interscope.

Die With a Smile's chances to make it into the IFPI Top 10 have been getting bigger and bigger each week. :DWAS:

Looking back at the #10 song from each year this decade, the cutoff streams to make Top 10 have been anywhere from 1.2B-1.57B (for an average of 1.32B). Remember, this includes all streaming platforms (not just Spotify) and also sales that are converted to streams through their methodology, whatever that is.

Per the Billboard Global 200 articles that mention the song's performance so far, this is what it's done globally as of this past Friday. (Again, no idea how IFPI converts sales into streams, but I included them anyways since they still count somehow.)

Week 1: 75.1M Streams + 31K Sales

Week 2: 97.2M Streams + 12K Sales

Week 3: 105.8M Streams + 10K Sales

Week 4: 111.4M Streams + 9K Sales

Week 5: 117.4M Streams + 9K Sales

TOTAL: 506.9M Streams + 71K Sales

The fact it could be halfway to the cutoff point by the end of this week already, before the onslaught of Gaga we'll be seeing the rest of the year even really begins. :DWAS:

Tacking DWAS into LG6.5 (if it wasn't originally the plan) would cheapen the whole project

That's a hill I'm dying on

Leave that **** to the Duas and Avas

we "highly doubt" that she would release all the projects at once and here we are, she will release them all at once

she has changed a lot, her artistic style has changed a lot, she has already made it clear that in interviews

I don't see why there's "highly doubt", everything is different this time and we're all seeing it

we want the STATS sis, Charts AND arts :suburban:

This is what I get from this whole imprint thing

Quote

Def Jam, Capitol Records and Atlantics Records are examples of record labels. Imprints are under the umbrella of record labels. It is simply a division of the record label and usually leave the work of distributing, marketing, and copyrights to the label.

Harlequin PS is still under Interscope

I 100% agree with you, I was just repeating what SV said the other day :dancehall:

An imprint is often marketed as a "unit" or "division" of the parent label,

but DWAS literally fits all the LG 6.5 snippets she's been teasing?

the aesthetic, music-wise and most especially lyrically everything so why would it cheapen it?

This is possibly not true. I don't know if they've changed anything, but I'm pretty sure Billboard used to weigh physical single sales more than digital single sales, which makes sense honestly since the cost to the consumer is significantly different.

#TeamChARTs!

why not both?

in fact, she should add Hold My Hand, Shallow, AND ARUTW onto Lg6.5 since they aren't on an official Gaga canon studio album… ChARTS!!'

not but seriously, I do think DWAS has a spot on LG6.5!
