I think ARTPOP's highs are higher than Chromatica's, but its lows are also way lower. So in the balance, I prefer Chromatica.

 

Sexxx Dreams, DWUW, Applause, GUY, etc. are masterpieces. But J&D and Dope.. Tragic. 

I get radio deals are a thing and all, so I ain't gonna hate on DITF's deal. But it's still a real shame that a song that's been a mega-streamer and easily one of the biggest songs of 2024 can't get any kind of momentum at the moment on US radio. 

 

It's #1 on UK radio, #4 on Italian radio, and #10 on AUS radio as a comparison point. 

I wouldn't remove anything from Chromatica tbh everything works so well especially with the album's theme and lyrically

I think the 3 weak tracks just needs that punchy production but honestly I get the album. not every gaga album has to be experimental and I guess gaga kinda wants us to give us "old crazy gaga" but still focus on the lyricsm and message of the album and dance our assess off hence the watered down production

Well, I agree with that too.  ARTPOP could've also been sooo much more, even if the version we have is amazing. In the end she has to learn to follow her intuition and not being afraid to risk musically, cuz this is when we had her best music like BTW and TFM
