I was going to mention this earlier here but one of my mutuals on twitter is an intern at WB and when Dune 2 came out he said that he had heard Denis wanted Gaga to play the role of Lady Fenrig (which ended up going to Léa Seydoux). Obviously take this with a grain of salt but I could totally see the vision having seen the movie. The movie went into production around the time of the Chromatica Ball so that could have been why she turned it down- plus the role was pretty small so that could possibly have been another factor (if this was even true).

Eh, considering that it's been years since Chromatica, I'd prefer it to be a longer album but not overstuffed with no1curr filler. 14-16 (all killer) tracks and a deluxe would be a dream.

This rumor pops up every few years and it's always met with the same criticism - Cleopatra is Egyptian, and Gaga is white. 
 

I think Gaga would kill the role, but it's just not a good idea in this current cultural landscape unfortunately.

Idgaf even if there are over 5 fillers, I'm not waiting half a decade for a short ass album

I wouldn't mind a nice 20 track album. Why not? We probably won't get another one for a while. To everyone saying "I'd rather a solid 12 track album" yall make no sense. You could get a solid 12 tracks PLUS a bunch more that maybe you don't like but other people do. Or that you'd grow to like in time as your tastes evolve. Like… at least they'd be out of the vault even if they aren't great. The amount of good tracks wouldn't change. 

When LG7 comes and it's a 30-tracks album with no filler then what?

ntm on PI it was a breath of fresh air for her at that time and it fits the whole vibe of the song. its actually pretty iconic too tbh

Probably sometime within the next few weeks, depending on when the album was finalized. Still would have to be mixed and mastered for vinyl specifically (let's pray the person in charge actually likes their job, it's not normally people who actually worked on the album) but I'd imagine interscope is gearing up for preorders.
