I think you didn't get my point. I just want Gaga to be creative with her performances regardless of how people will perceive. I also think doing so would actually be benefitial in how people perceive her- but that's not my main reason for wanting it. If I knew she would flop by taking bold and creative choices I'd still want it.

- Jazz shows, which were part of a dual pop/jazz residency that started in 2018

- Hold My Hand at the Oscars

- The Chromatica Ball

- Chromatica medley at the VMAs

Yes, because the start of the decade was a pandemic and she hasn't released a pop album since then? What exactly is she supposed to do between albums performance-wise?

Not you want her to bleed on stage, have fireworks coming out of her head and her in a meat dress at an Olympic event. If it were up to some of your ideas, Gaga wouldn't even be here anymore.

 

It's a good thing she doesn't give a damn to what this fan base asks for.

OK, sure, but we have not had another pop era to fully judge where she is creatively. Expecting her to do something out-of-the-box for the Olympics is just silly, no? There's a time and place for everything. 

 

There's also the fact that what Gaga deems to be "creative" is fully different from what her fans do. You guys don't seem to think anything is creative unless it's high-budget, high-production, whereas Gaga thinks showing up to the Oscars in jeans is creative (which, tbh, was subversive in an old-Gaga type of way). You guys are just on different wavelengths.

I'm not sure what you mean by "how people perceive her" though? She doesn't need any help with that, the public perceives her as an incredible once in a generation type of artist who is versatile and extremely talented, the only people who are perceiving her badly is a section of her own fanbase.
