Well I haven't exactly conducted a study in how people perceive her but this is just the feeling I get by having conversations with people and looking at social media - they like her but miss when she was more out of the box. I feel the same, which is why the TCB premiere was such a breath of fresh air for me. Sad to see that two months after there is no follow up to that.

We don't know how much input she had into what song she'd do. Could be very well that the Olympics reached out to her for the duet of that specific song. She wouldn't say no. And even if she did pick, it'd be something she would think would be appropriate, such as LVER.

Now trust, if she did a jazz medley for a VMA Vanguard, I'd be first in line to whip and lash her - but for this ceremony where it's not about her but the sports and the country, it's perfectly fine.

It's just that some of her biggest televised performances are a bit dull and simple and we think she should add a little bit of "Gaga" into it. There's nothing wrong with that.

So apparently Joaquin can look "ugly and crazy" but Gaga can't? I mean I have seen enough of straight guys showing their disappointment on how this Harley Quinn looks. They basically said that "Why isnt she hot like Margot"  Jesus, why didnt they ask why Joaquin is not conventionally hot like Jared Leto. Dummies.

Also, I want to clarify that this conversation started with a general discussion about what she's done over the past 10 years of her career and had nothing specifically to do with the Olympics. It was just an observation. I have no problem with anyone enjoying her singing jazz or covers; I'm happy you enjoy that and you have been eating good!

I was simply expressing a desire to see her doing more creative things with her live appearances. Personally, I don't need 83649 dancers or whatever, as someone suggested; I just want something different and exciting. Her performance with Metallica is a perfect example of something she's clearly born to do but has never fully explored again. Another example is her old BRIT performance—just her, a piano, a keytar, and a sculpture. Really simple but very effective. It doesn't need to include blood, explosive p.ussies or whatnot I just wish to experience again a big performance that doesn't include a gown and a cover of a classic old song 

 

But again, it's just my opinion. I'm not attacking anyone who thinks otherwise.

Every single televised performances  since her Oscar 2019 are dull and lack luster.

 

Every single J & P show >>> 2022 Grammy performance 

 

Chromatica ball performance >>> Whatever the sloppy mess she did in 2020 VMA ( thought the SL part Issa banger )

 

I loved her idea for the Oscar performance but her vocals and arrangement were dull on that day.
