I was just stating that it's unusual to have preorders open for less than a month. We also know that we had an interview scheduled for this month, probably related to LG7, and I guess it's scrapped now?

Not Babylon hooker being right then  jokes aside, yes it's so weird for the album to come out in August if she releases the first single for example July 5 (the earliest). Let's analyze. Announcing sometime around July 2 and releasing july 7, which means selling single CDs and vinyl. Then if she wants to sell preorders for an album, she needs some time to do that, like at least w month. And y'all know, it won't be announced immediately with the first single. It'll take some time from the single release, idk how long and how it was with lg6, but it clearly seems not enough time for the album in August when we think about it… cause the first single needs some time to perform by itself, build some hype etc.

Well...since clearly nothing else is happening I'll update you on AmericaGod's performance virality on tiktok. The biggest one has cleared 1M likes and 6M views. There will be several more crossing that line this week imo. Under the spoiler are (some) of the most liked and viewed clips. Even the random performance at the solstice event is getting some attention and there are tons of videos on the range of 10-50k likes which I didn't include here but they add up to a lot of views. Just these clips add up to +20M views.

I know that money is money, but it is worth noting that when Beyoncé or Rihanna accepted similar gigs (and they accepted only few of them), they transformed their performances into noteworthy events, generating a different type of discourse.
