I think back to the compilation videos of fans excluding their joy at the surprise at the end of the movie... we really thought the era was launched 

exactly, which is what was a point of a clip, it was to give fans something extra while they wait (and to reasure doubters who were rambling about it coming in 2080) and instead of being grateful for extra stuff, entire fanbase decided its dropping immediately so at first they imagined its dropping at midnight and when it didn't they started daily countdowns and rants over sumtn she didn't even say would happen  Given the tea spilt by her dad and Salva era is still about to start anyday now but ppl having having daily meltdowns because they put themselves in this limbo is ridiculous. Just relax and wait a bit, it's around the corner either way.

The hype is over so it should never be announced then?  The masses do not know about that teaser, it was just to tell us she'll be back

It can't be released on June 28th. Camila is with Interscope, and she's dropping her new album with two Drake features. It's either June 21st or July

It's just that Cotton On contest, a few fans won these meet and greets ages ago.

To be fair, Camila releasing her album shouldn't get in the way of a single release on the 28th, since they're not vying on the same chart. But yeah regardless, it wouldn't be in Interscopes style. 

Here is calendar for the next few weeks to have better overview. There are still CB premiere interviews to drop at some point too

Imagine Dragons are under Instercope and releasing on the 28th too.

 

But honestly it's all so quiet, I don't think anything's coming until she's done with these 8 Vegas shows.

I don't see vegas shows as a factor or "in the way". It's not like they are preventing to do something. Maybe not on release night but in the release week ion see the issue
