Yup, this is the original snippet that leaked a few days ago. But it was in a slighty better quality.

Yeah it's possible the GCB snippet was just a random track from the album, not necessarily the lead

It feels a little more uptempo than the Chromatica Ball Film teaser song to me, so I'm going with nah if it's supposed to be the very same song. 

 

But if it's an album track or the second single, maybe?

is my guess if the two snippets are the same song? Though I feel this second snippet is more "summery/carefree" than the first one, which is darker and more industrial? We shall see soon regardless.

But if these two snippets are any indication, it means we're getting another era with at least some electro-pop in it, which I'm always happy with

I'm guessing UM is UMG (Universal Music Group)? And maybe they're going with a surprise release strategy that's so surprising that the label itself doesn't even know about it

If there's no date for the lead yet, there's no album to be released this summer. It's kinda hard to believe that.

 

I mean we know they finished the album, will they sit on it until after Joker?

Presumably UM would be Universal Music since Interscope is owned by UMG or Universal Music Group formally.

 

I just... don't believe she or her team would actually think it would be a good idea to tease a comeback on something she knows the majority of her fanbase were going to tune in to, only for said comeback to be a considerable amount of time away in the future. And I know she has other things going on this year and I also know she and her team have made some questionable decisions regarding promo in the past but, surely they wouldn't have put the idea of new music into the universe without it coming somewhat soon.  I guess you can't put anything past her or Bobby.

Her father said LG7 is done, Andrew Watt is touring with PearlJam and he's gonna produce Osbourne's album next, the designer leaked the release date of August, SuperVillain said it was imminent, RideOrDie said it was this month, insiders in the katy thread are saying that Gaga is probably releasing on the 21st, i mean...

 

I KNOW WE ARE CRAZY, but this time we really have a lot of elements to belive something is coming soon.
