June 3, 20242 yr comment_25967272 ย I was watching this interview with Zane & Rick Rubin at Shangri La (where Gaga's posted recording LG7) and Rick gave Gaga some praise @49:48. ย He said she's a rock artist trapped in a pop star's body and her & Shakira are some of the only artists in pop that drive the ship of their musicianship. That's a big compliment coming from someone like Rick. I really want her to make aย realย rock album. Hearing the snippet, it doesn't seem like LG7 will be that but hopefully a couple songs really show off her rock side without being muddled with pop.
