I honestly wouldn't mind it. Instead of picking an awful lead single see what takes off on the album through the GP.

We know Miss Gaga would take the oppprtunity to post a few #ads and merch drops before vanishing and changing her socials to Joker visuals 

 

No im like refusing to even think of non pre era single with its video and physical release. Call me childish but I'm waiting for those the most

Interscope will do the math and decide if LG7 will do better with a traditional lead single or with a lead released with the album 

Gaga does not have a good track record with lead singles, looking at Stupid Love and Perfect Illusion. Her last lead single that performed well was Applause and that was 11 years ago 

 

They might be testing this strategy with Billie and will decide what they are going to do with Gaga based on how well Billie's album does

I can't see it happening with either. Ever since her debut, her music was always so connected to the visuals she envisioned.
