Lots of projecting here. Every time she releases a new project, you guys swear she did not mean to do what she did and that she meant to do something else. "Original LG5" "Original LG6" "Bloodpop forced her to do x, y, z." You remove her autonomy as an artist and as a human because you want to put her into a box she does not want to be in. You have convinced yourselves of each of these things all because she is being silent.

 

You not liking something =/= her not knowing what her vision is.

 

She can be all of this if she wants to. She does not have to focus on only one thing, and she does not have to tell us where her head is. It would be nice, but if she told us, you guys would just continue to attack her.

If you continue to hope that happens, you will continue to be disappointed and will forever live in a land of make believe. If you guys love what B and T do so much, they are releasing soon. Joanne was safe, PI was a choice but her label made her change the sound to make it more radio friendly, MR was safe and sounds like a song by pink. Stupid Love was safe radio friendly song, ROM was also the same- pop song ft Ariana couldnt been more radio friendly. Other droplets too: The Cure - safe, radio friendly, HML also. They got plenty of safe radio friendly "hit" sounding songs from Gaga and they failed to stick. ( dont come for me they were hits but didnt smash ) ASIB soundrack is an exception here that I am thnkful for and it smashed because of the movie.

 

What do all of these songs have in common? Lack of "uniqueness and Gaga feel" to them. Dont get me wrong but look at Bloody Mary. Yes it went viral on tiktok but its such a GAGA song in a nutshell. We the fans love it, the gp loved it. Its not your typical song that you hear on the radio, its interesting with the sound and lyrics but still catchy. I feel like both us and the gp would support her if she did something really creative and different like BM. Its no secret she found more success with her older work when she had interesting concepts, more unique music in the pop music landscape than those bloodpop beats cutsy little pop songs that people forget about in a few monts. Unique and different is literally what made her happen and they should realise thats the thing thats gonna be better for her as a brand

MR might have taken awhile but it smashed in its own right thanks to its longevity and ROM smashed everywhere besides the United States. If Gaga gets a single next album that performs like either, we should be grateful.
