I loved the Chromatica Ball for what it was but I mean do we reeeeeeeaaaally need the doll on streaming? She's a well established pathological liar but luckily DV Productions understood the assignment. Very little they could even possibly add to make the show look more exciting without it giving overly edited mess. You quite literally just had to be there and we can get black and white limo footage of her crying and complaining about having to be a popstar any day ...

She's still dropping Chromatica related collabs like Fortnite. Initially I thought it would end up being related to LG7 but I'm done with interpreting her moves charitably only for it to always end up being the worst case scenario. It's bizarre.

Either they change this or completely give up chasing #1 smash hits and let her release whatever jazz rock music she wants and not forced dance pop that was chromatica. I hate to say this but Beyonce is making history with her 3 acts project, Taylor is constantly releasing and writing, Ariana released a pretty good album while she filmed 2 movies back to back etc while Gaga is promoting medications, teasing an album that only god knows when its coming out and doing jazz shows in Vegas for rich 50+ years old people. Sorry but thats not how you can expect to have a good pisition in todays music landscape and you are becoming a legacy nostalgia act

She's totally insecure of Bey and Tay. She was visibly bothered when she was pitted against Katy in 2013.

 

And she has no one to blame but herself. Bey and Tay have played the game and invested in their crafts. And what's absolutely crazy is that she could have the same gigantic success if she actually gave a damn to invest in her own career. She has the star power, core fan base, media interest, and catalog power but instead she's chosen to abuse her core audience.

 

 

She definitely still has a passion for music but for being a pop star? Not anymore.

Does she want to even be a musician? Does she want to be a performer that doesn't put out original music anymore? Does she want to be a full time actress? Business mogul?
 

Gaga has always been jack of all trades, master of none and it's coming back to bite her because she has her hands in so many different pots that we don't know what she is wanting. Her fan base stems from her music career but that's the one that is seemingly least important right now. Team Gaga just needs to have a come to Jesus about what direction they're wanting to go the next few years and stick to it because the fans are getting annoyed that they feel like they've been edged the last few years with silence and teasing that never comes to fruition.

It's so strange because... she doesn't even do that many movies. Does she want to be a business owner first and foremost a la Rih? Why is she constantly yapping about art and creativity then? It's all very confusing.

I don't hate her. I still love and respect her, which is why I paid near $500 for a Jazz & Piano ticket. I'm just calling it like it is.

 

I have stanned this woman since the beginning and though I'm not her friend, I've watched and studied her enough to make reasonable assumptions about her intentions. She wants everything but there really is a point where she can have her cake and eat it simultaneously. The majority, core Lady Gaga audience are her pop music listeners. Then you layer in her jazz audience, her Joanne/ASIB listeners, film audience, etc. She can't be surprised about her current position in the pop music landscape when she's paid dust to her core audience but has happily squeezed them for the 1,000 brand partnerships she's pursued. In marketing, you establish and maintain a relationship with your audience or it falters.

 

I almost don't blame LMs for having turned out the way they did. I too would be perpetually resentful if a fave I was loyal to treated me like as disposable after having defended her on so many fronts. The fact that many of us spent actual energy defending her "art and capitalism" comments and other attacks on her character all to be rewarded with... 2-second videos with no audio.

 

I love Gaga and I'll always be here for her but I'm not going to spend as much energy trying to defend her choices - and they've been CHOICES - or pretend she's a force in music anymore.

She has also released a jazz album and performs in Las Vegas lol plus she also had to write the soundtrack for Joker, maybe even the score. Plus, shes clearly in the middle or further in the album making processm
