I had a dream about her last night. We were having dinner in a restaurant and i was convincing her to change her image into an instagram thot for one era, to attract the straights. She agreed that she would do it, i can't remember if she said it would be for an entire era or just for one music video, either way we won because it is now out there in the universe

This is what art pop era shoudve  been imo. Do you what you want she had that sexy pic of her ass and she could’ve done a quick remix for sexxx dreams mv with Britney Spears and have a sexy male model be the love interest.

I 100% agree. She should pull Taylor and not release a lead singe before the album. Just drop music video once the album is out. In the meantime, just tease and promote album as a whole project untill its out. I feel like that would work better, they always mess up leads 

Ok so this is my fantasy option: LG7 is a rock inspired album but kind of a fusion between BTWs 80s inspired moments and rock ala You and I, Electric Chapel etc. So basically BTW 2 but more modern and a bit more rock.

No lead single, announce the album 3 to 4 weeks earlier and during the countdown reveal the cover, tracklist etc. But surprise! Its also a visual album. It doesnt need to have videos for like 14 songs but a mini music film for 6-7 songs shall be enough. Release the trailer teaser for the visuals (for example like Beyonces Renny visual teaser) one week before the album. Drop album and visual together so we r surprised and have no idea what the sound is.

HOT TAKE/ RANT: I doubt Gaga's next album will be commercial pop music after the very commercial Chromatica that did well but not so great either. Y'all are worried about her being overshadowed by other girlies when none of it will matter if the music is either ass or super experimental or some less commercial genre. I can see her very well incorporating some of the rock ish elements from BTW and maybe some funk in the vein Bruno Mars but better. And lastly some psychedelic elements in the vein of Pink Floyd or soft rock like Fleetwood Mac. I'm skeptical or a tad bit worried about a (rock) genre shift for Gaga because Perfect Illusion was not IT but I'm confident she is in a better space creatively and artistically than she was before. I trust her instincts and hope she has a better musical team to help her craft the music than she did on Chromatica. Producers like Gesaffelstein remind me of the more dark bops stuff like Bloody Mary but I wouldn't rule out on album that's more instrumental based. Basically it could be anything HAHA. It's been so long since we've had new Gaga music and the last album that was authentically her was Joanne and even that album was a major departure from her previous stuff for us. Basically I have no idea what a Gaga song would sound like in 2024 but I'm excited.

Bloody Mary was once considered "experimental" and it is today one of her most popular songs. 

She should go arts not the charts, what she needs is a universally acclaimed album to cement herself as a pop auteur (and no I don't mean just in metacritic as anyone with a fanbase can get those nowadays).

Commercial success should be a bonus and not the main goal here.

Another made for the charts album that fizzles out fast will do nothing for her brand/legacy.

If Ari isn't doing numbers it's just the public's reaction to the material. Dua and Selena also tanked because they served mid material.

I don't think Dua's singles are necessarily mid, it's just that FN's success and organic hits were never going to be easy to replicate this fast

Organic? they were plastered on TTH, spammed on the radio, some even got multiple remixes and music videos. The songs eventually were beloved, but it took a lot of effort and judging by this era its not really paying off.

The fact that this year she only did 2 horse lubes posts, both of them were just posted in collaboration, and now she even removed one is very atypical for her. I doubt she's not going to post about the expansion, so maybe she's releasing music before?

Hopefully the people that are still around following this woman just for chart numbers and stats will finally move on.
