I will admit she has done magnificent in her '' all-rounder '' route in terms of gaining INDUSTRY acclaim. My issue is that she is becoming a jack of all trades, master of none. In her attempt to be as diverse as possible, she is spreading herself extremely thin and not focusing on one field or craft in particular, causing her output to be... somewhat stifled and middling. One might say she is an expert on music, but I think she still has a long road ahead in terms of truly being recognized as an expert in the musical field beyond vocal prowess. And she will not find that expertise if she doesn't focus, at least I don't believe that.

 

I also have a major issue in her transformative chameleon-like approach to her career that is fueled by her '' all-rounder '' entertainer role, in which she puts on a costume and sometimes even a persona depending on what she is promoting. This has me annoyed solely because I don't know who the heck this woman is anymore. It becomes harder to pin her down, and instead of being an enigma to the public and her fans and causing intrigue, she comes off as disingenuous and inauthentic. It'd be easier to support her career in the many fields she tries to excel in outside of pop music would she actually have some consistency.

I relate and enjoy her the most when she is releasing pop/electronic music. That is when she feels the most authentic to me. Her dabbling in other fields and genres have not brought me closer to her, rather pushed me away, even if I enjoy some of her output.

There will always be a project that you are not her targeted audience, you either move on from her or just stand by her as a person.

 

Her music might not be what she wants to do to express herself in her current time, maybe it never will be ever again, so instead of feeling disappointed, you can just accept that find other artists to fill your music desires.

 

Her transformative approach is what she does to cope with fame, that's exactly why you feel that way, if you can't see through her aura, you simply don't know her well enough. For fans like me, who love her as a person, not just an entertainer, I get what she does and why she does it, even if I don't always enjoy some of stuffs sometime. Everything she said or did she always meant it. Lady Gucci was her, Ally was her. Human being is complicated, you can't just pin someone down from one aspect, that's just wrong.

 

If you feel push away by her other projects, you can just move on, but for me, her projects always make me love her and discover her life even more.

Chromatica received aggressive playlisting. More playlisting than any of her other albums. Playlisting is promo in 2020. Chromatica got every push it needed to flourish. The GP just wasn’t fully here for it. The narrative that Chromatica got no promo is tired and untrue

miss thing chromatica literally released in WORST timeline in recent history. 

 

lead single literally got overshadowed by a virus that took over the world for 2 years. 

when the album dropped she had to shut down her website for 2-3 days. in FIRST WEEK. 

 

chromatica truly never reached it full potential.

There's no way the biggest radio station in the US is an AC radio station???  The fact that they have played Alejandro today but not Hold My Hand please.

they only played it 3 times yesterday first play was at 4:41am which is usless anyway lol we will see if they fit it in at lunchtime

 

B96 chicago, the third biggest US radio station, have already played it 4 times and its only 9:22am
