I mean, if she felt comfortable enough to post about LG7 so much, how far away can it be?  For a whole year, we only got two or three pictures from the studio. All of a sudden, there are ten posts in a row?

On the flip side, this makes me wonder if Interflop is dropping the ball in the playlisting department in general. But idk how much of that is up to the label vs management (who could decide to use less of the budget Interscope gives them on playlisting than Gaga’s team would). 
 

edit: if Gaga doesn’t end up releasing on March 1st (I think that’s the only date in March a single release is a possibility tbh) we can see how Interscope handles Billie’s playlisting for her rumored lead on March 15th too see if it’s a managerial issue or a label one.

Yeah it will be truly odd if after all that a date for new music hasn’t been set. I also feel kind of deflated that the teasing has intentionally perked the fanbase up to drop the Fortnite announcement instead; and while I’m enjoying the memes and seeing Gaga as popstar back in the culture again, it all feels too scattershot at the moment seeing Chromatica era ghost promo that runs though April, especially as we now know she will be back in Vegas in the summer and then promoting Joker in the fall. 
 

My expectations for a new era to be fit in this year (or at least one that feels coherent) has lowered. We’ll see what the plans are when they happen — I still think she’s excited about whatever it is she’s cooking and I think whatever it is has to be coming in 2024 regardless.
 

If Fortnite helps to raise her stock in the meantime and they manage to use the platform to drop something before her festival season is over (like The Weeknd did with the Popular MV) then that would be great, although it does feel like it will be used for the tour film more than it does anything else.

 

I think my main wish is that things didn’t feel like they were buffering so long with Gaga.
