There is some INCREDIBLE production on this album that sounds so good with airpods and spatial audio.

Y’all will complain if it’s a 2 month era and then she pivots to JFAD so 2025 might not be the worst idea ever.

It’s going to be a 1-2 month era no matter if it is released in 2024, 2025 or 2026.

I really hope Gaga goes out with LG7 because I just have a strong feeling it’s going to be her last album for a while. If everything goes well with JFAD I can see her focusing more acting and even do broadway and focus on having a family.

This fanbase is going to bleed so bad if she takes another long gap between pop albums after LG7. It’s already been a considerable gap since Chromatica.

The gap between Joanne and Chromatica wasn’t as bad because we had a droplet (The Cure) and a #1 smash (Shallow) in between the eras, as well as a SB Halftime show. Not every gap will have that to maintain goodwill.

Gaga has mentioned she wants a family of her own at some point. I feel Michael is good man who smart, mellow and actually supports her. He doesn’t seem toxic plus Gaga herself is getting older and I feel after LG7 and JFAD she will focus on her private life more and acting career because it will give her a better life/work balance compared to music. I honestly won’t expect a LG8 album 5 years after LG7 release. 

Manifesting a possible announcement this week...

 

- Tuesday: she usually announces on Tuesdays and it's already mid-February.

 

- Wednesday: it's Valentine's Day and I think black hearts may be related to this date.

 

- Friday: ROM was announced on Friday and revealed the following Friday

These long breaks are really hurting her momentum. It feels like she has to reintroduce herself to the GP as a mainstream pop act every five years.

We had ASIB, Coachella, The Cure so the gap really didn’t feel bad at all, in fact, I recall we didn’t expect Chromatica to be released a year after ASIB OST so this is definitely a first time.

 

We even had AHS in between ARTPOP and Joanne but now we’ll have two movies in between Chromatica and LG7 so it’s clear where Gaga is heading towards to which is not terrible I guess. 

When LG7 is full of dark pop-rock smashes, the Telephone sequel is on REN act ii with Jane Campion’d western visuals, and she wins BA for the billion-grossing JFAD… then what? 
 

Someone pointed it out earlier, but many of the pop stars that released in 2020 are just releasing their next album this year. It certainly seems like she's planning to release music soon, but even if she isn't she has a massive movie releasing at the tail end of the year. The recent omnipresence of Swift and Beyonce is just coloring your guys' expectations.

 

I want new a new Gaga album and era too, but I think she's wary of moving at the same pace she did at the start of her career- it compromised her mental and physical health.

As much as it pains me to say it, we live in a world dominated by Taylor Swift and Beyoncé so it’s really hard for any other pop  girl to have a bit of a momentum right now, cue Ariana, for example

Her focus is on too many things, so music has taken a back seat. And I'm guessing she's not feeling as creative as she used to.

 

It kinda sucks seeing Taylor releasing her fourth record in four years and Bey taking only two years to release another album, and here we are. Not to mention how half assed Chromatica era was (before y'all drag me, I am well aware pandemic got in the way, but that doesn't change the fact that the era was underwhelming.)

 

Y'all act like she's a washed up hasbeen who has been in the industry for 40 years but she wouldn't be signing up for a large project like JFAD and chase a Best Actress Oscar if she wasn't hungry for SOME huge success.

 

Many before her have started families and simultaneously continued their careers, with motherhood often resulting in fantastic creative work (Adele and Madonna). It's lowkey presumptive (and sexist) to assume that she wants to slow down in motherhood when that might not be the case at all.

 

Last year was the first time she had a real career hiatus out of the public eye. The idea that wanting to start a family = wanting to end your music career feels a little premature.

 

In conclusion, learn to appreciate releases from other artists in between albums.

Taylor is dominating, but there is plenty of breathing room between her main albums for someone to get a big era in too. I also doubt Debut will be as big as other TVs. It’s time for other artists to challenge her, because I’m sure the GP is getting tired of her.

Dua, Gaga and Taylor were the only A-listers who released albums in 2020. Dua had a huge era that went on for 3 years, and Taylor released three albums since then.

 

There is Selena Gomez too, but she's more of a makeup girl than a pop star anyways.
