Honestly I’ll never get this idea of “we don’t want it anymore because it’s old news now”. Gurl, no, I’m a stan, the more content the better. Release the Joanne World Tour footage while we’re on it, ARTPOP Act II, anything. 
 

One thing is moving on and not meltdowning over things that were never even announced in the first place, the other is actively not wanting something to be released.

Well, her team being like that isn’t exactly news, but unlike many other scrapped projects of hers in the past, this one was actually officially announced. And after Nurtec-gate on top of that, so cancelling it would be even trickier imo.

She should just upload it on Youtube and call it a day. Doing a theatrical release in January would be embarrassing. She will not be able to pull Taylor Swift or Beyonce numbers even for a limited 1-week release.

Uploading it to YouTube randomly is also just weird. It’s really time to move on. I don’t even care anymore. I’m all about Joker 2 and LG7 now.

Any word if there's going to be a soundtrack for Joker 2? Imagine if we get something like Prince's Batman soundtrack

At least Chromatica produced a 1B streamed smash, it did its job. Those saying RoM was only carried by Ariana need to realize literally all the other Ariana's features flopped. I don't think Stupid Love did that much damage. The GP don't hate it, they just don't care for it, just like Single Soon and Used To Be Young.

I don't think so. Pop radio is still surprisingly here for her unlike Katy. Stupid Love, Rain On Me and Bloody Mary all went top 10 on pop radio. She also had a nice transition into streaming era. All she needs is a banger lead single, if she releases another Stupid Love then it's truly over for her.

I like what Slayyyter did with Monster, but this and Nothing On But The Radio really prove how genius Gaga’s delivery is on some of these songs.

It is probably mainly because she is overseeing the entire thing and does not want to hand it off to a team to do it. That is the main difference between her and the others; the others will hire people/teams they trust to do stuff for them while Gaga will not.

 

There is zero demand for a Lady Gaga tour movie in theaters.  Not being shady, but only Taylor can really pull that off (very curious to see how Bey performs).

Yeah, Gaga covers never do it for me. IDK if it is because I am a stan who only likes Gaga's versions or if Gaga is just too hard to accurately cover.

They don’t lift a finger to work things out when there is a disadvantage. She is a perfectionist and likes to keep everything under her wing but the YES MA’AM around her need to advise her and guide her business better but for them is all about $$.

Yeah, that is how it was during COVID. When things fell apart, they did not even try to make things work like everyone else did. People were performing in their damn backyards.  

 

But honestly, if it was all about $$, they would be advising her to do more things lol. It is the fact that it is not about money that keeps her and her team from truly pushing things out. Do not get me wrong, the money is important, but it does not seem like a driving factor. At the end of the day, the bucks stops with Ga. She is the "yes ma'am" that ultimately makes the decisions.

@Sannie actually it was Gaga who halted everything regarding Chromatica back in 2020. She was approached multiple times by Interscope and she said nope and if your boss says no, it means no.

 

I’m definitely not defending them because TCB footage fiasco is a perfect example why her team needs an upgrade but the Chromatica album rollout was apparently all about her saying no.

Oh yeah, I know. Like I mentioned, the buck always stops with Gaga. I am sure Bobby tried to get her to do other stuff since he had put together so many other things, but Gaga probably did not feel right considering all the death and destruction happening. Even with the Chrome tour, she is the one holding things up, imo. 

 

People seem to think she is surrounded by "yes men," but the truth is that it is no one's job, nor does anyone have the power to make her do things she does not want to do.

God this thread is depressing. Whoever had the idea of shutting this thread down until a big annoucement is onto something
