I haven't streamed Hold My Hand in 24 hours and, in fact, I don't have the need to do it  I know it will grow on me, but it will take time.

The song is not on new music Friday playlist. It is very difficult to debut without that

The song hasn‘t even been added to the This is: Lady Gaga playlist yet. I think and hope the playlist reach increases drastically on friday, if it does, streams will for sure increase too  

 

Also, as @Monster Megamind just mentioned, the song obviously doesn‘t appear on any New Music Friday playlists as it was released on a Tuesday. However, I‘m pretty sure the song gets added to these playlists on Friday, so the Friday Spotify update should be a lot better!

The fact that Gaga spent more time interacting with fans for Haus Labs then she did yesterday for Hold My Hand  She just posted an Instagram story of a fan praising the song and called it a day  

As monsters we always have to go through some or the other shyt every single time. Either it is a crappy single choice, or a bad release day or bad playlisting... Her management is the pits...

Maybe they're saving the cover and #1 for the film release week. That's when they can maximize the chart/ streaming points. Airplay also would have been built up a bit by then (hopefully)

she also won a Grammy for Chromatica, but also got the highest MC score of her career, a #1 single, a #1 album,  another Top 5 single and a successful stadium tour
