Gaga releases are always a roller coaster ride. We are going to dragged the next 3 weeks. Hopefully everything will change after the movie is released. If the movie does nothing for the song…. then we ignore it until it gets nominated for an Oscar  

I've seen zero coverage of the song on my travels. Idk who's in charge of getting it out there...but...they aren't doing it.

 

Why launch it on MET night? Why release it without the video?

I thought it’d be paired with a TV commercial or something and that was why, but nowhere to be seen.   Should’ve just done Friday with the video.

I couldn't care less about what deranged humans on this site say. They never stop barking but this base is.....insufferable. From the "dark bawpss!!!!!" to the "its a bomb lets move on!!!" sometimes you can't help but wonder if it's her base or haters in disguise. If you don't like it, it's fine but c'mon now.  

 

The song won't be pulling any numbers until it gets playlisted and the movie comes out. Even then, it's still not guaranteed that it will be a hit. At worst we have a Be Alive moment and we can hope for a great performance on tour & the Oscars next year.

Yeah, I don’t know what the thought process was. There seems to be no tie in to the tickets going on sale. I expected a commercial, something. It’ll be interesting to see what’s planned when the music video drops. I assume they’re adding this to playlists once the full tracking week begins on Friday.

Even if the song was incredible, it wouldn't just get coverage on merit alone. Surely they aren't assuming that?!

I know itunes is dead and all, but the lead in the US keeps rising. 60% over the second song now. Maybe this can reflect the performance of the song on streaming too? It's clear that most people don't know about it.
