This should have been the signature look of the era, with Venus as the lead single with the seashell bikini. It lacked a cohesive image and sound, she didn’t know what she was doing so did everything at once like the VMA’s performance

This should be the album cover. the Jeff one we got literally is everything everywhere all at once! and the LADY GAGA pink color font disgusts me.

Yeah I feel like people was initially HERE for her pre-Applause. I mean it's GAGA fresh from her peak (BTW), ofc everything she would do later on would guarantee great hype. But interest greatly plummeted after the GP didn't like Applause that much (see: Adele's 30, for example). I mean they thought Applause was "passable"  but that's the FAULT, it was nowhere near the standard she used to put out. 

 

After that, the GP abandoned Gaga. It was that easy. Yes, it's cruel on Gaga's part  but that's the price of being the biggest artist at the time, once you lose the momentum, it's a break or make moment.

That too. With the Applause video, people (GP) thought "she was being way too weird and serious, we want old fun Gaga back", and the MV is not even that weird at all imo. So, just Imagine the DISGUST in their faces after the ARTPOP cover reveal.

Todd keeps shooting on the stais because the script keeps coming back to that place to show the passage of time. Instead of establishing shots, we get Joaquin and Gaga dancing on those d*** stairs 17 times throughout the film.

Yeah, I’m expecting her to take the summer off (which is well-deserved).

I totally forgot about Vegas Enigma/Jazz and Piano. 

Armani was really AMAZING here, the way he translated his couture to fit Gaga.
