she either filmed it and then scrapped it because she wasn’t happy or it was never actually filmed for a special to begin with.  like, I feel if they had actual plans for a special of some kind, they definitely would’ve setup filming for multiple shows in order to get the best shots and not just that one show in LA.

That wasn't my point. I was saying her and her team are smart enough to know how the music industry works. I'm not saying she's forced to release anything.

For how much I want and need new music as soon as possible, I wouldn't be surprised if until JFAD era she's not gonna release anything and staying on hiatus taking a break (recording new music or some Vegas shows at max) with her releasing new music in 2025 months after awards season ends in best scenario.

LG7 coming this year remains a good move on her part and I'm excited for anything she puts out between now and November 2024. 2025 "seems likely" is just a feeling some stans have. You don't know anymore than anyone else
