I do hope she snags a supporting role though. Surely there's got to be a smaller supporting role for someone in her age range from that era (Polly Platt, young Angelica Houston; Diane Keaton or one of Warren Beatty's other many gfs etc.

I hope this base is less toxic during the next film campaign. HOG was a successful box office smash but this base started ripping it apart once she was snubbed from the Oscars. Awards are nice and can even be enjoyable but a film not get nominated by the Oscars should not cause so much unnecessary stress and belligerence. I know some people here are just joking but I can tell others are genuinely upset when she doesn't get nominated or win at the Oscars. Award shows in the year 2023 are complete trash including the Oscars which has a sadistic past. One thing we can all bet on is that Joker 2 will be a smash with nice box office numbers and it will be acclaimed. If it doesn't get nominated for an Oscar, oh well, who cares. 

Villeneuve can wait. Need Aronofsky and Del Toro first.
