The Dom Perignon ad 2 visuals are just okay. Why are y'all gagging over them?

It'd still be better than an album full of Clap My Cheeks

I think people just like that it looks professional and cinematic. :cm:

Let's be real, Chromatica was aesthetically great, but Stupid Love was shot on iPhone and was real messy, Rain On Me was greenscreen'd to the point of obnoxiousness and 911, albeit very interesting visually, had some pretty off looking scenes that looked amateurish. And while there is charm in Gaga being rough around the edges, it's nice to see something polished once in a while.

ROM is about as polished as you can get for a music video, let alone a Gaga music video

Whats wrong with a greenscreen? They let create visuals that wouldnt be able to be done physically. Gaga hag'd yall along with her.

If I become super aware that a music video is shot in a greenscreen'd sterile studio, it takes away from my experience. If you are going to use greenscreen in high quantities, then I at least expect extremely captivating visuals (whether they be extremely realistic or out of this world fantastical), dynamic camera shots and angles or a good storyline, to distract that all the visuals are fake. ROM doesn't REALLY deliver any of that. I love the solo shots of Gaga on the rooftop, those look the most interesting and dynamic, that skirt the line between real and fake, but the group dance segments are quite poor in terms of immersion.

But that's just my opinion :cm:

agreed

Green screen shouldn't be used unless it is ABSOLUTELY needed. Bad Romance had little to no gs yet it was her best mv

Stupid Love was terrible, I agree.

Rain On Me is a very polished video though and so far in her videography she hasn't had this much green screen on her video so at least that's new territory. And Robert Rodriguez is known for his CGI.

911 is exactly what you'll gonna get if you hired Tarsem Singh. The Fall is one my favorite movies of all time and 911 is littered with Singh's blueprint with great production value.

Overall, Chromatica has a solid videography sans the shot in iPhone infinitely better than what Joanne era had to offer (Perfect Illusion is a great video though).

ROM and 911 are outstanding videos with high production value. Let's not, sissies.

911 as a song and a music video is the highlight of the era.

It was Gaga’s type of pop music done right!

Deserved a bigger radio payola than Lift Me Up and bigger spotify payola than Levitating!

Godga need to fire her entire creative team and hire all new people who are willing to push her buttons and piss her off I won’t settle for mediocrity once more
