The first day Bloody Mary pulled 2M+ daily streams was Dec 2 when it entered the Global Top 50. More than a month later, it's still doing 2M+ updates and in Top 50. Never thought Gaga would have a catalog track become this viral and that too one of her best deep cuts

Her team and Interscope are useless, that's has been proven with literally every album/single rollout. We shouldn't expect anything from them.

ARUTW was a solo hit that outstreamed lile 99% of conventional hits of the past five years, be serious. 

All Gaga needs to do is release a smash instead of a bomb for a lead single & all of this ‘she’ll never get a solo pop hit again’ talk will be moot

Also it’s not like MR is some obscure indie genre, it’s certainly a solo pop hit. And miss me with the country bs. It’s a pop ballad with strings & 1 steel guitar 

 

Her team is a joke. BM had so much viral potential and they simply wasted it, refusing to lift a finger.  This is the first time the GP genuinely cared about Gaga since Shallow. Well, if they don't care about it, why should we care? Thank God ASIB was in competent hands.

No one cares about Oscar nominations. Let's be honest. And it's not like HMH deserves an Oscar. It's not even remotely as good as Shallow, which was a monumental success.

I feel like they could have at least released a mini greatest hits or a Bloody Mary EP or something on Spotify. That's what Ghost did when Mary On a Cross went viral, they dropped a greatest hits type of EP that started and ended with the normal version and the TikTok version of Mary On a Cross. Studio Killers released an EP for their song Jenny too along with a few remixes. Even a lyric video would have done a little more for it.

The major difference being Gaga is a mainstream pop artist who’s still culturally relevant & can rest on her laurels while Ghost is a no1curr satanic metal flop that needs to capitalize on any little metric of success

Global press doesn't cover minor nominations. Gaga gained coverage with Shallow because ASIB was huge and the song was a huge hit. No one cares about HMH. I would certainly take a BA nomination over BM becoming a cute hit though
