This reminds me of the time when Gaga was very present in the media when promoting HOG and yet it had absolutely no effect on her streaming numbers.

Applause should have been as big as PK or BR but Capitol Records and Troy Carted used all their energy to sabotage this POP GEM

We used to celebrate her songs hitting 200k+ before and now she has three songs viral simultaneously with one sitting in top 50 for more than a month and charting around the world and the drama queens in this fanase are STILL meltdowning and complaining daily my GOD

Streaming services combine the streams if the song is the same, so a Greatest Hits album would actually boost the albums' performance on Spotify and Apple Music. The thing it would cannibalise is the albums' chart run on the BB200. In Gaga's case The Fame: Monster would stop charting and the Greatest Hits album would take its place.

Assuming it's not a mess (or music for the elderly ), LG7 could totally smash

 

She's stronger than ever on streaming and she's built up a lot of goodwill since Chromatica. It literally just needs to be good and have decent single choices.

it probably won’t - it’ll be higher. Stupid Love is still doing 100k 3 years later and it was a massive bomb and Bloody Mary is actually liked by the GP and serving more longevity. Its recurrent streams are gonna be excellent.

But yeah, BM going viral and permeating through culture has helped reintroduce her as an artist and her entire catalog to the new gen, can definitely see some of this newly sparked interest translate into initial hype around LG7. So exciting 

Ga should at least consider releasing one or two droplets this year if LG7 isn't coming out until after the conclusion of the J:FàD era. Even some ERT PAWP rejects/ACT deux re-issue kinda thing for the 10th anniversary would do and also keep her numbers afloat.

 

Let save the LG7 talk when its time for it. We are now in tiktok era
