I agree that it could've been more. And what we got should've been better promoted. But still, for an era that was doomed since day 1...

All this scattered over 2 years is not nearly as good as you make it out to be  I don't remember a single interview that was anywhere near interesting and the fact that we had ONE live performance is the worst of it all  

 

I truly believe anyone thinking Chromatica was fun or rich with content delude themselves into thinking that. Lord, look at @Marry Illusion Glory's post about Joanne era and compare it to what we got since 2020

She was doing a little too much at times, but we can't deny that there was a lot of content overall and consistently throughout the era with many high points and we were fed really well from start to finish

The girls just don't realize how good we used to have it and might never again with eras becoming shorter due to new music trends and an ever-changing pop landscape and Gaga becoming a more established artist over time and thus, increasingly less reliant on traditional promo.

NEVER a boring day during the Joanna era. Even the mediocre Million Noses radio updates were fun compared to the months of radio silence we had to sit rhough in 2020-2021.

 

I don’t think anyone compared the eras per say. Chromatica stood no chance. It was not a normal era and Joanne just as all of her other eras, was just a better era. 
 

The Chromatica visuals are def what make it up for me. 

The fact that Chromatica stomps Tucanne and it literally lasted 1 week as an era. Million AC Performances just didn't do it for me. Glad she's moved on from that.

The constant start-stops, the radio silence, the long drawn out schedule. A 2-year long nightmare.

 

 

 

Like yeah, she tried the best she could to salvage whatever was left of it and what could be done in those times and the visuals and photoshoots were stun but it was still lacking big-picture and we aren't gonna sugarcoat it. Thank goodness it's done and behind us now though. Just give us the immaculate tour film and then we can prepare for #LG7

Tucanne died right after Perfect Delusion bombed and didn't restart until months later during the Super Bowl. Then it crashed back down and was over again. At least with Chromatica the music was good and Rain on Me was a major bop and a hit. Not to mention we got a completed and superior tour. I fear Chromatica won the war.

If you really think that the 1-week Chromatica "era" was better, well. Good for you sis. I definitely enjoyed the Joanne more because it had a lot more content and a lot less silence. But that's my take on the two eras. Not the music, the eras.
