It's not a thing that requires too much time to edit, it's really up to them when they want to release it.

Yes, it was filmed during Feb 21-22. That's around 3 months. Another tour special for reference, Rep tour was filmed Oct 6 and released on NYE via Netflix. If they really have plans to release and everything goes well, we could get it well before the end of the year ? no way to know for sure when they will though.

 

It would also be a strategic move awards season wise as HMH is the encore and wraps up the show on an epic note.

Is there any way that the Chromatica special could get nominated for an Emmy or Grammy? Madonna received multiple Grammys for recorded tours. But maybe times have changed, since reputation didn’t get nominated anywhere and Taylor would of gotten nominated for those awards if she was eligible

Yes it’d be eligible for several Emmy categories including Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) and Music Film at the Grammys

I’m so excited to see this tour again. Hope it doesn’t take too long to be released. 

I hope the special has some BTS and bits of documentary here and there.

I hope she puts the audio on Spotify too so I can put Sour Candy live on repeat
