The fans on the floor are getting their life, and she is also trying to interact with those in the nosebleeds / seated. Watched some recordings of Bon Jovi at their stadium show and most people’s butts were pressed  firmly in their seats for Livin’ on a friggin’ Prayer. Yes if you binge concert recordings you will notice repeating patterns which is true of every performer. Some of you need to get over your cringe though for real because no one else notices or cares about **** like this.

the fan engagement stuff from anyone is always a little funky when you’re watching a recorded performance, but it’s soooo effective in person

 

same with when she (or anyone really) randomly goes “[place where she’s performing]!” it just gets me so hyped up 

One of Ga's biggest strengths as a performer is that she's extremely present on stage and personalizes the live experience depending on the mood and location of the venue and tries to engage her audience the best that she can. That's the sign of a true superstar.
