If Chromatica was full of productions by A.G. Cook, Danny L Harle, and Clarence Clarity you might have a point. Grimes nor Hana nor Bloodpop nor Sophie nor Rina had made 90s house before Chromatica came. Gaga is the biggest mainstream artist to honor with a full album the one/two hit wonders of the 90s and early 00s (Corona, SNAP!, Jimmy Sommerville, Alice Deejay). None of them nor their collaborators were on Chromatica, we know that Grimes and Sophie did some early work on it, probably through their affiliation with Bloodpop, but none of it made the album, and neither the music nor the concept was reminiscent of Grimes, Charli's, Sophie's or Rina's work.
