I hope they do that. DWAS is invincible at this point so they should do any and everything to leech of it's success (hopefully without compromising the album though).

I think everything depends on how good the LG7 cover looks. If it's amazing, people might want to find out what it is and what else is on the record... 

LG7 will be the first true Gaga album since ARTPOP we can truly experience at the clubs upon release, I can't wait

Only pop fan bubbles care about these things, but Flowers aways had the ESV cover until it became bigger when they released an alternate cover

Why would they change that? Single albums with single cover art exist. Just treat it like a proper single, it's not an album track.

Exactly. OGHs would call DWAS a fluke if it were a solo song, and if she got two DWAS-sized solo songs in a row, they'd accuse her of payola. Which is why trying to "disprove" OGH narratives is pointless since they'll always shift the goalposts. They'd also kill for their fave(s) to have a DWAS-sized smash this far in (or at all). Monday will not be a fun day for them methinks

I think more importantly, the "Go To Album" button should lead to LG7, and a cover that specifically reads as LG7

 

Bc I'm sure to a lot of people the ESV cover just looks like a single cover for Flowers - bc it's blank. The blank look is iconic, but still

 

I don't think this change will be a fundamental help in promoting LG7 but it's a good idea - we need Gaga out there yapping and doing cute things to create media hype for LG7 and her upcoming summer festival tour

Also - I don't think this short window is that crazy. 

 

Joanne had about 7 weeks of announcement and pre orders, and Chromatica was planned to do the same before covid delayed it by an additional 7 weeks (remember it's OG April 10 release to coincide with Coachella?)

 

I think they're gonna reboot the era with the announcement on Monday, a single next Friday, and then the album out Feb 21st or 28th
