A hundred years for High as Hope 🥀

7 years is wild... Such an understated, underrated project tbh I just love it so much

I had surgery the day before High As Hope was released and I was so miserable/whelmed listening to it on the day. Then I didn't listen to anything else for the whole week basically her power

No? She's done this before. Before the official single announcements (king), she'd send out mysterious cards to fans, and then billboards would randomly appear so we could speculate. There were quite a few threads like this with Dance Fever, for example, the brilliant tracklist reveal by revealing cards with song covers on her website... And before the release of Mermaids, she probably did it the most: first she changed her bio, then the emoji, then the strange website link, and so on (with the introductory videos too) 😓

So, what I mean is that we never know that she is preparing/producing an album until it is ready,the mystery with the dance fever tracklist was only after she announced the album, we already knew there was going to be an album, she was direct about the album announcement, and mermaids was the end of the era. Not now, she's never posted production photos before the album is released, you know, she usually posts them after.

In 2017, Florence confirmed that she was recording an album, there were even some photos and other producers from the band also spoke out, so...

Exactly the same thing happened before the premiere of Ceremonials, since 2010 Florence had been talking about the album, we knew the theme and the producers. This is nothing new if you look at it all or if you've been around Florence for a long time
