Agreed and her discography needs a bit more 'body'. Both her debut and RO have a lot of more midtempo songs that kinda lean to ballads as well. I hope DL4 she dares herself to keep it moving and keep it fresh. It also would make the more midtempo slower songs stand out more for the right reasons, instead of them being one of many, if you get what I mean.

I've grown to really enjoy Illusion ... but just for what it is (a mid, throwaway bop) - nothing special. I remember how excited we all were when she said this was THE song that really began RO... just for it to be that.

Also I still laugh at the title RO; it's so absurd for what she's singing about ☠️☠️☠️ still imagining a darker, vibier album called Chaos Theory with more H-/TS-esque outtakes

Yeah I never got why they released Illusion as a single, it was one of the worst rollouts for a single I've ever seen from her

The manner that we almost in 2026 and we didn't hear a single RO unreleased song i'm very curious about the gems that we lost it and hear more about the Radical Optimism soundscape palette or the preliminar tracklist with songs that almost made the cut or know the titles and how many tracks were considered for RO deluxe

She's known to be from a football loving family ( dad and brother apparently big Arsenal fans), and she's been at Arsenal in the past anyway at games (, and of course husband to be is a huge Chelsea fan too), but there's been a lot of football related stuff over the past few months, at Boca Juniors /River Plate in B Aires, the Fla/Flu big derby in Rio and Arsenal /A Villa the other day…..

Any chance this is background noise for an official World Cup song? I mean her profile in Europe/L America is perfect for it and it's not like she's unknown (!) in the USA?

I doubt she'd be willing to be part of a World Cup song that's hosted in a Trump administration US. I mean she was fiercely resistant when there were rumors that she was involved with the song for Qatar as well.

Tbh Illusion was just dollar-store Hallucinate (which was never a hit - ddd the GP really hates her gay stuff), but the video is SUCH a gag, I forgive it for being the final nail in the era's coffin.

She's working with Mark Ronson and that's pretty much all we know. Early last year she was in the studio with some people that she worked with on her debut album as well but I think that stuff won't make the final cut.

Unfortunately it really does look like she wont start another album rollout until late this year / early next year

If album would be in October/November she has more than half of a year to submit it to label so I wouldn't be worry about it.

Our cinema chain has a Sound Sessions special where u can listen to certain albums in a theater completely in Dolby Atmos with surround sound and FN is one of them. Just came back from listening and holy shitttt its even better than ever Pretty Please' bass line stands out so much

i'm glad they released Hallucinate and kept pushing songs off FN because everything was going so right that era and labels are so iffy with giving budget to anything so we should all be happy that era gave us this much content despite everything being in shambles during peak-covid
